The Maintenance Warranty Policy

The customer who purchases d.gen products from d.gen and/or its Authorized Dealer, he or she will request maintenance service directly to d.gen and/or its Authorized Dealer.

The maintenance charge consists of 1) d.gen technician's service fee (traveling cost and labor cost per hour), 2) checking charge, 3) repair charge and 4) component cost.

The printhead cost excludes from the warranty without exceptional case. But, for a customer who purchases printhead using the credit that d.gen reserves based on purchasing amount of d.gen original ink, d.gen will provide special low price for the printhead.

The customer who buys from on-line shopping mall ('d.gen direct') at d.gen website, www.dgen.com or www.dgen.it, they will get 5% off from the total amount as well as 5% credit deposit. (d.gen will bear delivery cost for a customer who buys more than EUR500.- (needs to discuss for an amount) per shipment). The customer can use the credit to pay for any kind of maintenance charge (including printhead cost) or to purchase inks.

The dealers will get 5% credit of total purchase amount of d.gen original ink, and they can use this credit to buy spare parts (including printhead) and/or inks.

d.gen shall reserve the right to refuse the free maintenance request from a customer.

 

For a customer who use only d.gen original ink

When the customer requests service regardless of the period from the installation date, d.gen does not request any maintenance charge. But, it excludes printhead cost and/or d.gen techician's service cost - in this case, only practical traveling cost without labor cost. The customer can use the credit mentioned above.

For customer to use the 3rd party's ink other than d.gen Ink
(including the case of who use those inks together)

A.  

Within 3 months from the installation date, d.gen does not charge for the maintenance service except printhead cost and/or service cost - in this case, only practical traveling cost without labor cost.

B.  

 Within 1 year from the installation date, d.gen will not charge for the maintenance service except printhead cost, ink-related component cost (the list will be uploaded on the website) and service cost.

C.  

After 1 year from the installation date, d.gen will charge for any maintenance service.
